1. Site Visit
First off we will visit your property and discuss with you your vision for your Cocohut. We will then create a design brief and full cost package for you, so you will know exactly the build timeline, the exact costs with no hidden extras and a payment schedule.
2. Planning and design
Where possible we design and build our Cocohuts to adhere to permitted development rules - in rare cases where planning permission is needed (such as in a conservation area) we can take care of that whole process for you.
3. Installation
Ground works, mapping, digging the foundations and erecting the main supports will normally take around two days.
Once this is set, we then create the unique timber roof structure ready to accept the thatch, implement the design for the decking and floor area.
The roof is then thatched - the average time frame for this is one to two weeks.
Finally we install the electrics, lighting and heating package that comes as standard with all our Cocohuts, plus any add-ons you have requested in your design consultation.
